Custom Corporate Environment Design
Branded interiors, showrooms, lobbies, and retail environments designed and fabricated in-house for permanent installation.
Branded Environments Built for Permanent Installation
Your brand deserves more than generic interior design. Whether you're developing a corporate lobby, executive showroom, retail environment, or restaurant buildout, we deliver visual impact, functionality, and lasting value built specifically for permanent installation.
The same fabrication team that builds custom trade show exhibits handles your interior project, which means showroom-grade quality on commercial timelines. From wall graphics and display cases to full-scale branded interiors, everything is designed and fabricated in-house at our Ventura facility. Many of our clients pair permanent corporate environments with our custom exhibit builds to extend the same brand identity from the trade show floor into their headquarters, showrooms, and client-facing spaces. For brands needing flexible installations or satellite office activations, our portable trade show displays and modular systems work alongside permanent installations.
Permanent vs. Semi-Permanent Installations
Different needs call for different builds. Here is how the two approaches actually differ once you get past the marketing.
Built for Daily Use Over Years
Permanent corporate environments are built for daily use over years, not weekends at convention centers. That changes material selection, construction methods, and the design approach. We use commercial-grade materials rated for continuous exposure rather than event-grade components designed for periodic setup and teardown.
Permanent installations integrate with your building's existing architecture, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and ADA compliance requirements. We coordinate with facility managers, building code inspectors, and your internal teams so installations meet local regulations while maintaining the design intent.
Flexibility for Changing Needs
Semi-permanent solutions provide flexibility when your space needs might change. Modular wall systems, reconfigurable display components, and demountable structures allow future updates without full reconstruction.
Companies planning expansions, testing new product lines, or anticipating office relocations often choose semi-permanent approaches that preserve initial investment. The structural backbone stays usable even when branding, layouts, or use cases evolve over time.
Integration with Existing Architecture
Corporate environments work within your building's constraints rather than controlling the entire space like trade show exhibits do. We design around structural columns, ceiling heights, HVAC registers, fire suppression systems, and existing electrical outlets. The goal is integration where branded elements enhance the architecture rather than fight against it. That changes the design approach significantly compared to a trade show booth, where the booth is the architecture for three days.
Working with building management companies, property owners, and facility teams ensures installations don't violate lease terms or local building codes. We handle permit applications, coordinate inspections with city building departments, and provide documentation that satisfies property requirements before fabrication begins. For tenants in Class A buildings or historical properties, that documentation step often determines whether the project moves forward or stalls in management approval.
Permits, inspections, and compliance documentation are part of the project, not your problem.
- Building permits and city inspections
- Property management approval documentation
- ADA compliance verification
- Fire code and life safety review
- Lease compliance for tenant improvements
- Historical property documentation when required
Trade Show Expertise Translates to Better Corporate Environments
Our 25 years designing custom exhibit builds means we understand how to create branded environments that attract attention, guide visitor flow, and communicate messaging clearly. Those same principles apply to corporate lobbies, showrooms, and client-facing spaces. The difference is the timeline (years vs. days) and the materials (commercial-grade vs. event-grade), but the design discipline carries over directly.
Trade show fabrication techniques produce showroom-quality displays on commercial timelines. We bring that speed and precision to corporate projects, delivering professional installations without the extended lead times typical of architectural millwork firms. Many clients use corporate environments to extend brand consistency from their trade show presence into permanent office space, which is why hybrid programs combining custom exhibit builds with permanent installations often share design DNA.

Tap'd Self-Serve Beer Garden
Transforming an older restaurant into a modern self-serve concept with 75 different beers
The Client Request
Tap'd required a complete remodel of an older restaurant location to convert it into a self-serve system featuring 75 different beers. The space needed to feel modern and approachable while working within the constraints of an existing historical building.
The Xibeo Solution
We started with a German beer garden concept, aiming to bring outdoor ambiance indoors. Historical building restrictions required us to adapt the original trellis idea for the open ceiling, so we kept a "barn" covering for the keg storage. Weathered wood was used for the exterior of the keg storage, cash counter, and merchandise area behind the counter. An aluminum roof over the dispensary area enhanced the outdoor feel, blending the old building with the new concept.

Get a QuoteCorporate Environment Design FAQ
Common questions from brands planning lobbies, showrooms, restaurants, and branded interior buildouts.
QWhat types of spaces can you design and install?
We create branded corporate environments for a wide range of use cases including corporate lobbies, executive showrooms, retail interiors, restaurant buildouts, sales centers, training rooms, and interactive demo spaces. Each environment is designed around your brand and built to support both client engagement and internal workflows. Our case studies cover restaurant conversions, automotive showrooms, branded product walls, and full headquarters lobby installations.
QCan you install these environments in multiple office locations?
Yes. We can replicate and adapt the same design across multiple locations or scale it up and down based on each space. Whether you're rolling out a national showroom program or outfitting regional sales offices, we make sure each space meets the same standards of quality, branding, and finish. Multi-location rollouts also benefit from coordinated fabrication scheduling, which reduces per-location cost compared to handling each project individually.
QDo you handle the entire project or just fabrication?
We are a full-service partner. That includes concept development, 3D rendering, engineering and construction drawings, in-house fabrication, finishing, freight, and on-site installation. You get one accountable team from concept through final walkthrough, with clear timelines and weekly communication. For brands also running trade show programs, our exhibit logistics team coordinates installation crews and freight across both temporary and permanent installations.
QHow is this different from a trade show booth?
Trade show booths are designed for short-term setup and teardown. Materials are event-grade, structures break down for shipping, and the design assumes the booth controls its entire space. Corporate environments are the opposite. They use commercial-grade materials rated for daily use over years, integrate with existing architecture and HVAC systems, and need to comply with building codes and ADA requirements. Many of our clients run both, often with shared brand DNA. Our custom exhibit builds often inform the design language for permanent installations.
QHow much does a corporate environment design project cost?
Pricing varies widely based on space size, complexity, and material selections. A small branded reception area with custom millwork and signage typically starts around $25,000 to $60,000. A full lobby with feature walls, integrated lighting, and dimensional branding ranges from $75,000 to $250,000. Restaurant buildouts and retail environments depend heavily on square footage, with full restaurant remodels typically running $150,000 to $500,000 or more. We provide detailed project budgets that break down design, fabrication, finishing, freight, and install so finance gets the full picture upfront.
QWhat's the typical timeline for a corporate environment project?
For a standard corporate space (lobby, showroom, or single-room buildout), plan twelve to eighteen weeks from initial kickoff through completed install. That includes two to three weeks for discovery and concept development, three to four weeks for design refinement and 3D rendering approvals, six to eight weeks for fabrication and finishing, and two to three weeks for delivery, install, and final walkthrough. Larger projects involving multi-room installations, restaurant buildouts, or complex permitting requirements run twenty to thirty weeks. Permitting timelines vary by city and can extend the front of the schedule by two to four weeks if your municipality has a slow review process.
